Complete art direction and cover art design for the release of the single BTR by Maltezz.
Project Context
Context and Objective
In June 2025, Maltezz reached out to me for the creation of the cover for his new EP titled BTR. This project was particularly important to him, as he wanted to give it a strong visual identity that reflected the message and atmosphere of his music. He shared his track, inspirations, and some visual ideas he had in mind.
Research and Concept
I began by analyzing the visual references provided by Maltezz. I sorted through them to keep only those that were usable, then started working on how to integrate them. I also explored different color palettes and typographies to find those that best matched the BTR universe. I provided him with an initial moodboard to validate the artistic direction.
Graphic Design
Once the concept was validated, I began the graphic design of the cover using Illustrator to create the custom typography and Blender to model certain elements in 3D, particularly to integrate the text into a scene. I worked on the composition, integration of visual elements, and perspective to create an immersive atmosphere.
Finishing Touches and Rendering
I then finalized the rendering in Photoshop to achieve a unique cover, faithful to the artist’s inspirations and reflecting both his musical universe and my artistic identity. This project allowed me to explore new creative techniques while strengthening my graphic design skills.
